I chose this image to study because it poses many challenges painting artificial elements and it provided an opportunity to study ancient architecture.
I plan to put a lot more structures in my personal environment paintings but I need more practice. I used the warp tool to adjust the curves of the forms and finished with a subtle texture in soft light mode.

Wow, this is trippy looking. Almost feels like it was painted with watercolors. Very cool effect!
